Shun Hing Group 65th Anniversary Dinner Looking Forward to the Development of the Greater Bay Area

The Shun Hing Group 65th Anniversary Dinner was successfully held on 9 November 2018 at Chancellor Room of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. More than 300 distinguished guests from the political, commercial sectors and business partners attended the dinner, celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Shun Hing Group and 100th anniversary of Panasonic Corporation. Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Kuninori Matsuda, Consul-General of Japan in Hong Kong and Mr Kazuhiro Tsuga, President of Panasonic Corporation officiated the toasting ceremony, together with Mr Shen Chong, Director-General of Coordination Department, Liaison Office of The Central People's Government in HKSAR, Mr Peter Shiu, Legislative Council Member, Mr David Mong, Chairman and CEO of Shun Hing Group and senior management.

This year also marks Panasonic Corporation 100th Anniversary, Mr Tsuga, said in this speech, "Shun Hing Group is like a father who raised our business in the B2C area, has expanded to B2B and B2G areas. Moving forward, we will continue to offer people 'A Better Life, A Better World'."

Hong Kong, with the advantages of its strategic location, and the opening to traffic of the new Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the high speed railway, Shun Hing Group is ready to explore business opportunities in these areas. Mr Daivd Mong announced the new Shun Hing Tower in Kwai Chung will be ready for use by April 2019, to meet up with the challenging business environment ahead.

Mr Mong concluded, "I am grateful to have the unfailing support of Panasonic, our many business partners, dealers and customers; and also my colleagues who contributed their time and effort in making the celebration events successful."
