Shun Hing Group 65th Anniversary Proudly Sponsors La Cage aux Folles

Shun Hing Group shows its continuous support to the local arts and cultural activities by title sponsoring "La Cage aux Folles", the musical of Hong Kong Repertory Theatre in celebration of its 65th Anniversary. The musical was staged from 19 to 27 January 2019 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Grand Theatre. The exclusive performance was held on the 19th January 2019 with the attendance of over 1,000 audiences.

The script posited that true love transcends sex and blood ties. The Hong Kong Cantonese premiere of La Cage aux Folles featured a live music and enthralling dance, invoking the beguiling beauty and coquettish charm of the drag queens. The theatre went alive especially when the "Cagelles" walked down the aisle and interact with the audiences.

"La Cage aux Folles" received six Tony Awards for its lighthearted and entertaining tale awarded the Best Revival of a Musical in 2005 and 2010. it also graced around the world with its film adaptation garnering three Oscar nominations.
